Purpose and scope
This Data Processing Agreement must describe the operator of AdsMailer, the service provided and the responsibilities of the parties.
Audience relationships and permission
Subscribers remain under the control of their organization. Cross marketing does not transfer raw subscriber databases. Sending requires recorded permission, and unsubscribe and suppression choices must be respected.
Information and controls
Document actual processing purposes, legal grounds where relevant, data categories, retention, deletion/export requests, subprocessors and security practices. Identify your contact channel and response process.
Items to complete before launch
- Operator name, address, jurisdiction and contact details.
- Actual providers, international transfers and retention periods.
- Fees, refunds, cancellation, dispute handling and marketplace responsibilities where applicable.
- Implemented user rights, unsubscribe, complaint and incident procedures.
